Carson Alread Perfect In Season Opener

Duluth, MN (November 27, 2018) – Carson Alread took a giant step forward in his second season with the Polaris Racing/AMSOIL/Klim/Jack Link’s/Axalta team on Friday night, going undefeated in Sport class qualifying and running away with the main event. The AMSOIL Duluth national is a hometown race for the Judnick Motorsports team, as well as long-time sponsor AMSOIL, and Alread’s performance was the perfect start to the season.

Pro racer Corin Todd, who joined the team over the summer, quickly followed Alread’s blueprint, winning his first qualifying round on Saturday. Todd would go on to finish just outside of the top 10 in the main event Saturday, eighth on Sunday and close out the weekend ninth in points as the series heads west.

Pro Lite racer Nick Lorenz made a long-awaited comeback to the sport on Saturday after sitting out a full season with a knee injury. Lorenz struggled initially to get comfortable at race pace but made steady improvement throughout the weekend, finishing with a top 10 in a very competitive main event on Sunday.

With one weekend off, the team is making a quick turnaround before heading to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for rounds three and four on December 7-8.
