Emil Harr Opens Season With Top 5 Pro Class Finish In Minnesota

New Judnick Motorsports team rider Emil Harr delivered as advertised on Friday night, guiding his Klim/Jack Link’s/Polaris to a fifth place Pro class finish in the opening round of AMSOIL Championship Snocross.

This was the first true test of our new Polaris 600R racer and while the crew worked tirelessly throughout the weekend to adapt to the deep, sugary snow conditions that we had yet to encounter, Harr proved that he was capable of taking the sled to the fight at the front of the pack under any circumstances.

On Saturday, Harr was prepared for another strong run in the main event but sustained major damage to his machine as a result of contact from a competitor in the first corner. Amazingly, Emil finished the entire 14 lap race, securing a top 10 result in ninth, salvaging valuable points in the championship.

Nick Lorenz endured his share of bad luck over the weekend but posted some of the fastest lap times in the class during both days. A hard fought seventh place finish on Saturday night added valuable points to Lorenz’s weekend total and he can’t wait to get to the next round to keep the momentum building.

Carson Alread proved that he was up to the task as a rookie in the Pro Lite division, winning a heat race and qualifying for the main event on both nights. Alread finished eighth in Saturday’s final and heads into next weekend ninth overall in the class standings.

Up next is the Theisen’s Snocross National in Dubuque, Iowa on January 15-16. If you can’t join us in person, follow the daily livestream at snocross.com/livestream.
