Harr Scores Another Podium Finish

The Amsoil Championship Snocross series made its way back to the fairgrounds in Dubuque, IA for the Theisen’s National. Four rounds of racing are now in the books and our Judnick Motorsports crew fought hard through adversity this past weekend in Rounds 3 and 4.

Friday’s track featured tight, hair-pin turns which made it difficult for passing. However, all eyes were on Emil Harr as he continued his streak of podium finishes. Our Swedish rider started the final around the top 10 and swiftly managed to string together multiple passes and project himself into the top three. Harr matched his previous weekends best career Pro finish with another remarkable 2nd place run and was one of the only riders to make this many significant passes during the final.

Alread was also able to find success in his qualifying rounds despite battling illness for the past few weeks. He went 3-2 in his qualifiers, setting himself up for a good pick on the line in the final. Regardless of his best efforts, in the final Alread was pinched off the start and was outside of the top ten. He managed to make a couple passes during the final, putting himself into his final position of 8th.

On Saturday, Harr and Alread’s results did not reflect the speed and determination presented by our riders. During Harr’s qualifying rounds, he was caught in some unfortunate luck and was kicked from his sled in one of his runs. In the final, Harr was caught in an early race pile up, ultimately finishing in 13th.

During Alread’s first qualifier, he was collected with another rider that took him out of the majority of the race. However, he rallied back to take a 2nd place in his next round. In the final, Alread had to start from the back row, but that didn’t stop him from driving all the way up to 7th place when the race was red flagged due to an injured rider.  After the restart, Alread made his way to around the top five, when he was struck a corner, bucking him from his sled and taking him out of the race. Alread ended up taking 13th.

The series will now take a one week hiatus and return to racing in historic Deadwood, SD on January 28th and 29th. The team looks forward to building off of our early season achievements and returning to a track that brought us much success last season.
