Corin Todd Season Best Seventh In Iowa – Moves Into Top 10 In Pro Championship
Duluth, MN (March 12, 2019) – Corin Todd raced from a back row starting position and passed five riders on his way to a season-best seventh place in the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Pro final in Dubuque, Iowa.
With another winter storm bearing down on the Upper Midwest, the venue at Sundown Mountain in Eastern Iowa missed the snow and featured warm, sunny conditions during Friday night’s action. On Saturday it was a different story as heavy rain plagued riders and teams throughout the day and fog rolled in to severely limit visibility for the night show.
Todd finished 11th on Saturday and has now moved into 10th place overall with three rounds to be completed next weekend at the Grand Finale in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
RJ Roy struggled in his first visit to the unique ski hill course in Dubuque. The combination of an elevated drop-away start and two, super technical, downhill mogul sections challenged the young Canadian who steadily progressed to finish 13th in Saturday’s Pro Lite final.
