Double Podium Weekend

After a two year hiatus due to Covid restrictions, the Amsoil Snocross National Tour made its way back to Lake Geneva Wisconsin for Rounds 13 and 14 of racing. The return to this venue was one of the most highly anticipated races this season, as it featured the only ski hill track we’ve raced thus far. The ski hill at Grand Geneva Resort makes for some technical and exhilarating racing and the three day event lived up to all expectations, and so did our results.

Harr had a tough go in his qualifying rounds on Saturday, forcing him to start the Pro final from the back row. Despite this back row start, Harr managed to round the first corner of the final in the top ten and didn’t stop there. He methodically picked off riders lap by lap and soon found himself in the top five, fighting for a podium position. When the final and thrilling battles were all said and done, Harr earned himself a second place finish.

Harr opened up Sunday with the same energy and persistence he showed in the previous nights final, and scored 2-1 qualifying round finishes. These results pocketed him the number one qualifier position for Sunday’s final. Our Klim/ Jack Links Polaris rocketed out to a fantastic start and had Harr sitting in the top three where he remained the entire race, ultimately taking another second place finish making it a double podium weekend.

Next weekend we head to Cannonsburg Michigan for the season finale. This venue was supposed to hold the season finale two seasons back, however Covid restrictions stopped the race right in its tracks and canceled the event, despite riders and teams already traveling to the venue. If the track is half as good as what it appeared to be two years ago, we’re in for another treat this upcoming weekend. We hope to finish out the season strong, just as we started it.
