HARR P2 IN ROUND 6
The series returned to Canterbury Park after a lack of snow out west forced the rounds back to the iconic horse track. This time, fans and riders were met with a dramatically expanded layout, nearly double the size of many other tracks on the circuit, creating one of the largest and most demanding layouts seen in recent seasons. While conditions shifted drastically, with sub zero temperatures delivering some of the harshest weather of the winter, the on track action remained hot.
FRIDAY | ROUND 5
Harr | Heats: 6, 1 | Final: 8th
Kamm | Heats: 4, 6 | Final: 10th
Under the Friday night lights, Emil Harr experienced a mix of highs and lows in the heats but continued to build momentum heading into the final. In podium contention late in the race, a small misstep ultimately cost Harr a top three finish, bringing him home eighth overall. Returning post concussion, Kody Kamm opened the weekend with a pair of consistent heat race finishes and carried that pace into the final. Battling hard throughout the race, Kamm secured a top ten result.
SATURDAY | ROUND 6
Harr | Heats: 1, 1 | Final: 2nd
Kamm | Heats: 7, 2 | Final: 8th
Harr came out strong on day two, sweeping both heat races to set himself up in prime position for the final. Capitalizing on that momentum, Harr delivered an impressive ride to secure a second place finish, a return to form for the Swede. Kamm faced a tougher start in the opening heat but rebounded with a strong second place finish in heat two. The final followed a similar story, as Kamm battled through the field to earn another top ten finish.
The team will now work hard over the next two weeks before heading north of the border to Canada for the Grand Prix de Valcourt on February 14 and 15. The event will run in conjunction with ice oval racing at the world’s largest winter motorsports showcase.
