RJ Roy Matches Season Best Finish In New York
Duluth, MN (February 27, 2019) – RJ Roy matched his season best finish with another fourth place in the Pro Lite final, when the AMSOIL Championship Snocross tour made it’s annual stop in Central New York.
As a rookie on the tour, every weekend brings a new look for Roy, who has never competed at any of the national venues outside of Minnesota. On Saturday, Roy completed his second top 10 run of the weekend with a ninth in the main event.
Pro racer Corin Todd had a pair of 10th place finishes in front of his home state fans.
Both team riders will be competing in the ERX Eliminator race on March 2. This is a head-to-head competition with the winner of the final round talking home $10,000. On March 8, the team will be in Dubuque, Iowa for the first of back-to-back weekends that will wrap up the 2019 season in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
