STRUCK GOLD IN THE BLACK HILLS

The series made its way to the westernmost stop on the tour—a fan and rider favorite—the iconic Days of ‘76 Rodeo grounds in historic Deadwood, South Dakota. Known for its electric atmosphere, the legendary bullring never fails to deliver excitement and unpredictable chaos. This year’s track added an extra twist, featuring nothing but right-handed turns, setting the stage for a thrilling weekend.

FRIDAY | ROUND 4

Friday night’s action roared to life with the JM duo lined up side by side at the starting gate for round one. As the light turned green, both riders wasted no time getting to the front—Harr in the lead, with Kamm hot on his heels in second. The tension ramped up as Kamm closed the gap between them, eventually overtaking Harr in a clean, decisive move to claim the top spot. The two battled fiercely, holding their positions lap after lap, but the drama wasn’t over. In the final stretch, Harr mounted a comeback, catching Kamm and reclaiming first place. Harr clinched the victory, with Kamm finishing a strong second. Unfortunately, due to a technical issue post-race, Harr was disqualified, placing him 13th, and Kamm was awarded the round win.

With a brilliant jump off the line in round two, Kamm catapulted into the top three early on. Meanwhile, Harr, relegated to the back row after the previous round’s disqualification, fought his way to seventh by the end of the first lap. Kamm held strong in second, battling immense pressure from behind, until another rider collided with the #53, ejecting him from his sled and derailing his efforts. Swiftly remounting, Kamm attempted to regain as many positions as possible, ultimately crossing the finish line in ninth. Harr, however, masterfully carved his way through the pack, methodically picking off riders one by one and powered to a well-deserved second-place finish.

In the third and final round of the night, the JM teammates surged into the top five right from the start. However, disaster struck once again for Kamm as he went down early. Meanwhile, Harr, holding strong in second, found a smooth line through the rhythms, shooting to the inside of the rider ahead of him to seize the lead. Former racer and series announcer Robbie Malinoski described the setup and the pass as “poetry in motion.” From that point on, Harr took full command of the race, riding with control to secure a well-deserved victory. Kamm, despite his best efforts to make up ground, finished in twelfth. Harr’s 13-2-1 finishes awarded him fourth overall and Kamm’s 1-9-12 finishes placed him in eighth.

SATURDAY | ROUND 5

Harr rocketed off the line to a top-five start. He quickly found himself in the middle of a four-way battle, where he gained the upper hand and seized the lead within just a few laps. From there, he never looked back, maintaining his spot at the front and riding to a commanding victory. Kamm, on the other hand, had a tough start but refused to back down. Fighting tooth and nail, he worked his way to an eighth place finish.

The second round of the night delivered all the excitement, beginning with Harr nailing the start. However, a slight nudge from another rider in the first corner sent him off his sled. Though he quickly remounted, the mishap dropped him back to sixth. This small setback, combined with a few others, opened the door for Kamm, who seized the opportunity, sliding past and quickly settling into third. But Kamm wasn’t content to stay there for long—he sized up the rider in front of him and made a move for second. With time ticking away, Kamm spotted a chance to take the lead and seized it. Harr, steadily working his way through the pack, closed in on his teammate. What followed was another thrilling teammate showdown, as Kamm led Harr around the bullring until Harr slipped inside and powered his way to the front. Harr took the victory, with Kamm finishing in second.

Kamm delivered yet another flawless holeshot, shooting to the lead with Harr trailing in fourth. Once out in front, Kamm began to distance himself from the pack, riding with a perfect mix of comfort, confidence, and unrelenting strength. He held his ground at the front for nearly the entire race, until a final battle with just one minute remaining, where he ultimately crossed the line in second. Harr, meanwhile, started and finished the race in fourth. Understanding he didn’t need to overtake any riders ahead of him for the overall, he focused on hitting his marks and putting together a clean, consistent performance. His 1-1-4 finishes earned him the top spot on the podium, while Kamm’s impressive 8-2-2 finishes secured him the silver.

It was a historic moment for Judnick Motorsports, marking the first time in 28 years the team scored a 1-2 finish in the pro division. The podium was a sight to behold, with all riders representing Polaris Snowmobiles and Klim.
