Alread scores his first Pro Lite Win, Harr finishes season best Fourth
Duluth, Minn. (February 22, 2021)- Carson Alread completely proved his ability to be a frontrunner in the Pro Lite class this weekend in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with double podium finishes. During the main event on Friday, Alread quickly got out to a good jump off the start and scored his second, third place finish of the season.
Emil Harr continued to show more speed and consistency in his riding this weekend, navigating himself to finish just shy of a podium position. Harr started out the main event mid-pack but continued to charge hard to his final position of fourth, making it his best run of the season thus far.
On Saturday, Alread carried his momentum into the main event, jumping to a commanding start and leading the entire race start to finish. Our Pro Lite rookie controlled the main event, finishing 1st for a career best finish. The double podium finishes this weekend allowed Alread to climb greatly in points. He is now sitting tied for third in the chase.
Harr came out strong during his qualifiers with 2-1 finishes, making him the number one qualifier going into Saturdays main event. Not getting the best start in the final, Harr still secured a top ten spot finishing seventh, and sits tenth in points after the weekend.
Nick Lorenz had a tough break this weekend, sustaining an injury in his round one qualifier. Lorenz ultimately broke his wrist; however, it does not require surgery and his doctors and team are hopeful that he will possibly return for the last two rounds of the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Tour.
The team now has a weekend off and will prepare for the next stop of the tour in Elk River, Minnesota at ERX Motor Park on March 5-6.
