Judnick Motorsports Signs Jr. Champion Carson Alread To Round Out 2018 Lineup
Duluth, MN (May 15, 2017) – Judnick Motorsports is excited to announce that we have signed 2017 AMSOIL Championship Snocross Jr. 16-17 Champion Carson Alread to pilot a team sled in the Sport class for the upcoming season.
“Carson had a great season last year winning the Jr. 16-17 class championship and finishing a very close second in Jr. 14-15,” said team owner Scott Judnick. We watched his progression closely throughout the year and his second place finish in the Sport class at Lake Geneva just solidified the fact that he was ready to contend for a championship in that class in 2018.”
The addition of Alread gives the Jack Link’s/Axalta/AMSOIL/Polaris team a very potent lineup in all three of the primary national classes, with Nick Lorenz back to challenge for a Pro Lite title and Jake Angove making his debut in Pro Open with his sights set on being the Rookie of the Year.
“We actually worked with Nick for a couple of years in the Sport class but kept it under the radar,” said Judnick. With Carson, however, we wanted to provide our great sponsors with this opportunity to have exposure with all three of our young guys so he will be racing out of his family trailer but with full support from the team on the exact same Polaris 600 R race sled as Jake and Nick.”
“I’m really excited to ride for a team like Judnick Motorsports,” said Alread. I’m honored to be given this opportunity to ride for a team with this much experience and success in this sport. Last year was my first year on Polaris and I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out but I’m even more excited for this next season with Polaris and being apart of a team where we can work together and have a couple teammates to share info.”
Alread is a native of Gaylord, Michigan and is one of many top young amateur racers, including Polaris Racing’s Zak Mason, who have made their way from central Michigan to find success on the national snocross tour.
