Harr Double Podiums, Alread Scores a Third Place

What an unbelievable way to open the 2022 season. The Judnick Motorsports crew made a statement at the highly anticipated season opener at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN with three incredible podium finishes. The Klim/Jack Links Polaris team had its most successful opening weekend in years, leaving the first two rounds with both athletes sitting top three in points.

Leading our opening weekend efforts was Emil Harr. Harr showed pure tenacity all weekend and on Friday was battling for top three positions the majority of his qualifying rounds, scoring a third and a fourth. In the final, Harr got a great jump on the start and was hovering around the top five. Some slick passes projected Harr into the final podium position, where he finished 3rd.

On Saturday, Harr showed the same spirit and used his newfound momentum to score a qualifying round win. This gave Harr a third-place gate pick for the final, where his Polaris Snowmobile rocketed out to an early top five start yet again. The race was red flagged due to a rider sustaining an injury on track, and the restart of the race featured a staggered start. After the restart, Harr was battling for the lead and was able to hold off a hard charging pack behind him to finish 2nd, making it his best career finish in the Pro ranks. Harr now sits 2nd in points leaving the first weekend of racing.

Teammate Carson Alread also had an exceptional weekend of racing, proving he can pick up right where he left off last season. On Friday, Alread put in multiple commendable runs putting him on the front row in the final. Alread was able to grab the Stud Boy Holeshot in the final and lead a majority of the race. After multiple battles throughout the entirety of the race, Alread secured the 3rd place position making it his sixth Pro Lite podium finish to date.

On Saturday, Alread had to start the main event from the back row. However, that did not stop him from making his way through an ultra-competitive field in the final and managing to salvage a 6th place finish. These admirable runs from Alread have him currently sitting 3rd place in points.

We cannot thank our sponsors enough for their continued support toward our racing efforts. This weekend’s opening round successes are a direct reflection of the amazing program and village we have behind us. We are looking forward to carrying this momentum into the next round of racing this coming weekend in Dubuque, IA on January 14th and 15th.
